BookBook for iPhone, a review

Twelve South has been known to create some of the most well designed and functional Apple-focused accessories in the industry including the BookArc, Compass and most importantly, the BookBook family. Over the summer, Twelve South released the newest member to its BookBook lineup, an edition for the iPhone.

Hands-on with Twelve South’s new BookBook for iPhone

Twelve South released its first BookBook last year for the MacBook Pro. Following its success, BooBooks for the iPad and MacBook Air were released and too became a hit amongst consumers. Today, Twelve South released the newest addition to its successful line, BookBook for iPhone. We go hands-on…

The BookBook for iPhone features a rather innovative design being not only an iPhone case, but also a wallet. One would imagine that having both a wallet and an iPhone together is a combination which would add up to a rather bulky hunk of leather, however, that is not the case with the BookBook. In fact, it is rather close to the size of theOtterBox Defender, which is impressive to say the least.

The case features a pocket for money, two slits for cards, one for an ID, and, as you can imagine, an iPhone pocket. There are cutouts for all the device’s ports, however the rear camera requires the phone to be slid up over the back of the case to be used. Everything is genuine leather and the details are stunning. The cost is $60 (link). Stay tuned for our in-depth review in the coming days. Till then, take a peak at some pictures of the new case.
