Christmas in February Part Two: Dropzone

Posted onFebruary 18th, 2010

February is not over, which means neither is our giveaway series “Christmas in February.” Dropzone, “the swiss army knife of drag and drop for the mac,” has joined in as part two of our giveaway series.

All you need to do is register on the forums and reply to this thread. Once again we’d like to thank Aptonic Software for supplying us with these licenses. Like we said in the first part of this series, this is only part 2 “there will be more Christmases to be had later”… If you have never heard of Dropzone, you can check out Aptonic Software’s website to learn more.

Christmas in February Part 1: Winners Announced

Thank’s to everyone who entered in the first part of our Christmas in February giveaway series. We would especially like to thank ColcaSac and The CocoaBots for providing products for this giveaway. The winner of the ColcaSac product is JoeCool and the winners of the Hyperspaces licenses are Heclak, Brendan, Harrisonbro, Tilx, Shishk, Lernjp9, Gepalex, William, Sitaratis, and Constantine. We will be contacting the winners shortly with instructions on how to get your prize.

Stay tuned, we will be announcing the next part to this series very, very soon.

Update: Licenses will go out today. Sorry for the delay!

Valentine’s Day in February (One Day Giveaway)

Posted onFebruary 14th, 2010

Apparently we just want to keep giving you free stuff. To celebrate the national holiday of Hallmark and flower shops, we are giving away one license of MacPaw’s MacHider. We figure if you get dumped on Valentine’s Day because someone sees something on your Mac they shouldn’t, we at TheMacFeed will make sure it doesn’t happen again. MacHider allows you to protect all of your personal files via password and even hide them. There are plenty of uses for MacHider and we will cover them in our review, which is coming shortly.

Like our Christmas in February Giveaway (which is still going on), all you need to do is reply to a specific thread. Just post here. If you’d like to say thanks, tell us a depressing story about Valentine’s Day or send us pictures of teddy bears, flowers and chocolate – we’ll appreciate it, but really all you need to do is to post something.

Unlike the Christmas in February Giveaway this one will end soon (February 14, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST) We reserve the right to change the contest at any time, etc, etc..

Once again thanks to MacPaw for participating in this.

Christmas in February Part 1: ColcaSac & Hyperspaces

Posted onFebruary 13th, 2010

We are happy to announce our newest giveaway series, Christmas in February. In December of 2009 we created a forum and over the past couple of months we have been doing some behind the scenes stuff to help make it a forum that TheMacFeed can comfortably call their own. We have spoken with developers, worked out all the bugs and now there is one thing missing, you. So, in order to encourage you to get to the forums a tad bit quicker we have a shameless giveaway.

Our friends at ColcaSac and The CocoaBots have been kind enough to give us some free stuff to giveaway. The CocoaBots generously donated ten licenses to Hyperspaces (Daniel’s review here) ColcSac was kind enough to donate whatever you want, sort of. If you are the winner and get the ColcaSac prize you can chose one of anything in the store (any shape, any device, any color) and they have lots to chose from. You can read Daniel’s review of their popular notebook sleeve here and his review of their messenger bag here.

All you need to do is register on the forums and reply to this thread. Once again thanks to ColcaSac and The CocoaBots. If you notice this is Part 1, there will be more Christmases to be had later…
