Apple is notorious for releasing well-timed advertisements and this one is no exception. On August 31st, Apple debuted its newest iPad 2 ad entitled “Learn.” This ad coincided with the vast majority of students returning to classes to, of course, learn.
CNET’s Don Reisinger made a valid point earlier today mentioning Apple’s FaceTime ad which was released just a week after Facebook announced that it had signed a deal with Skype.
Earlier this year rumors were buzzing around regarding a new iPad release later this year. DigiTimes claimed a launch of the iPad 3 in October while a story in Taiwan Economic News said the company would launch in November.
