It seems that Barnes and Noble are coming to the iPad to get a hand in the eBook rush with their own app which will allow current Nook owners (and other Barnes and Noble eBookstore users) to access the books they have previously purchased and get even more books via the Barnes & Noble eBookstore. This could possibly get the attention of countless Nook owners who are interested in the iPad but afraid of loosing all their purchased content. Well done B&N.

Designed specifically for the iPad, our new B&N eReader will give our customers access to more than one million eBooks, magazines and newspapers in the Barnes & Noble eBookstore, as well as the existing content in their Barnes & Noble digital library. (That includes eBooks and content customers have downloaded to their nook™ eBook reader.)
