The Wall Street Journal has reported that textbooks are coming to the iPad, who knows if they will be available outside the U.S. Ars Technica notes that despite killing USB for third-party apps on the iPhone, an alternative is coming – no, not Light Peak. Mark Cuban and Rupert Murdoch are both big fans of the iPad. Meanwhile FoxNews continues to report that the iPad is coming to Verizon – given the lack of history with Apple rumors, their general reputation and the fact that they are the only one’s reporting this – we’ll wait. Cult of Mac made fun of Wired’s inability to make a working Wired iPad app. 9to5Mac has discovered the supplier for many parts for both the new iPhone and iPad. According to DigiTimes, Radiant will ship 300,000 LED displays for the iPad.
