Possibly one of the most anticipated days from Apple since the introduction of the original iPhone has been the activation of MMS for the iPhone. Allowing users to send and recieve picture messages has been a feature that has not been present in the U.S. since the phone was released. Today AT&T has updated their network to allow for this feature to be used and we can confirm it is now working.

After the launch of the iPhone one of the reasons to grab a MobileMe account was that MobileMe was the only service to offer true push e-mail technology. If you ever used a BlackBerry you know that push mail is very appealing. As a BlackBerry user myself I can say that the iPhone, Apple in particular, truly dropped the ball on the whole push e-mail feature. Like many others I found keeping my MobileMe account active was a great way to ensure my e-mail was pushed immediately.
Today Google™ brings us push e-mail for Gmail users for the low cost of nothing. That’s right, nothing!
We aren’t going to hide anything: this is the best “case” we have seen. Incase, Booq, ColcaSac, you name them – TOM BIHN beats them. The ingenious mixture of egg-crate cushioning and soft internal padding creates a unique pocket for our MacBook Pro to sit in safely. Pair it with one of Tom’s bags, and you went from winning the Kentucky Derby to getting the Triple Crown.

There are times when I wish I had a little more volume with my iPhone speakers in places where external power is not incredibly crucial, such as in the bathroom while showering.
Being a fan of listening to music while showering, I have been through countless methods of bringing tunes to my morning shower. Eventually finding myself in a place where a plug was unavailable to safely place a speaker and iPod combo nearby, I sought out other alternatives. Enter, Griffin Technology AirCurve.
After reading mixed reviews I found that this was the best acoustic amplifier available both because of the aesthetics and the overall functionality.
What it Does
In short, the Griffin AirCurve amplifies the sound of your iPhone by about 10 decibels. Clearly not audiophile amplification, but not bad considering there are no changes made to your phone making it a hassle free combination.
The AirCurve also doubles as a dock with a pass-through available for the cable connector. For $19.99 it functions as a very inexpensive dock for your iPhone (all generations) and iPod Touch (2G or 3G).
In short, the AirCurve is a sleek little piece of plastic that does exactly what it says it will do, amplifies sound.
TheMacFeed gives Griffin’s AirCurve 5 Stars. Available at Griffin.com.
Usually when you buy a product the second time around, it’s because you were impressed the first time. That was not the case with Speck’s SeeThru Satin Soft-Touch on a Hard Shell Case. We bought this product, because Incase takes forever (literally forever) to update their case line. It’s been over eighteen months since we last had a Speck case on one of our Apple notebooks and we do think that they have improved the case, but definitely not enough.
