Edit: After further investigation TheMacFeed is believing that this story is questionable at best. The author of the original story was Scott Moritz. Moritz’s credibility regarding Apple is bad at best. He made up sources for a story regarding iPhone expectation numbers and has routinely taking a liking to bash the company. In addition to predicting that the new Verizon product will be released, he describes it as the “iFlop.” While we think Moritz is probably not right about the releasing of this product, the sad fact is – even if Apple released a product that was not so good, it would still be a numbers success because it’s Apple and it’s Apple’s Tablet, a product whose anticipation and hype is only out-shined by the iPhone.

Day by day the reported “Large iPod Touch” draws closer (ETA: Within next 6 Months). TechCrunch reports that they plan to have their LTE (long term evolution) service ready for 2010’s quarter one.
Rumor has it that LTE will be coming out in some markets some time next year (estimated 20-30 markets by 2nd half 2010). Yet, Verizon is pushing for Q1 supposedly to join Apples “new device.”
From Verizons limited tests of its LTE (aka 4G) network, they reached speeds up to 60 mbps.
You may be asking about AT&T and Apple right? AT&T and Apples deal is said to end sometime in 2010, probably just in time for Verizons release. Knowing AT&T their LTE network will be later, most likely 2011 but don’t get your hopes up.
