TheMacFeed has catered to some amazing products but none of them are like this. Created by Marketcircle, Billings 3 does time billing and invoices. But unlike other ‘Work’ applications, Billings is beautiful. The attention to detail on the invoices is one in a million. You can not find another application like it.

Who is it for?
I would mostly see graphic designers, site designers, video editors, and other free lancers use this. Overall, if you are working from a computer on something that you charge by the hour, this is perfect for you.

Time Tracking:
I am going to use Amanda as an example of how one would use Billings:
Amanda is working on a huge project for one of her clients. She begins her work by starting the Billings timer. From there she continues to work on the logo for her client.
Amanda gets tired and decides to go take a break. She then pauses the timer.
When Amanda gets back, she decides to work on a new project for a client that just called her. She goes to Billings and starts a new project. On Billings, she fills in the simple information on her project; Name, Due date, Start date and notes that she needs to remember about this project. Amanda then starts the timer and gets to work.
As you can tell, Amanda can work on multiple projects with ease. All she has to do is select the project from timer, and click start.
That story is just a glimpse of what Billings can do.

The Basics:
The menu window of Billings is very thorough. You set your hourly rate that is used for the timer. Also, the option to set a logo, taxes, hot-keys, appearance, and much more is available.

Features:
Time Tracking – Use hot-keys or the timer in the menu bar to track the exact amount of time you work.
Invoicing – A one-click invoice button is all you need for sending them out. But in addition to that, Billings gives us options such as recurring and monthly invoices.
Statements – You can send a statement easily just by choosing a template, or you can edit a pre-made template to fit your style.
iPhone App – Coming sometime soon, there will be a mobile companion to Billings. According to Market Circle, the second half of 2009.

Price:
Billings is $39.99 from Marketcircle’s website.

Conclusion:
Billings is the best way to manage ‘time billing’ and ‘invoicing’. There are no cons to ugrading, and it is easy for anyone to use. Billings has a way of getting you extremely organized, and overall it is perfect. Did I mention it’s perfect? There is no other way to express how great it is than by giving it a 5/5.
