From the creators of the award winning FontCase, BohemianCoding has done it again with DrawIt. DrawIt is a vector editing application that also caters to bitmap-like filters. Not only is it amazing, but it is the best one we have ever used.
Preferences:
The preference pain of DrawIt is actually very small with only two tabs General and Advanced.
Effects:
Effects are by far our favorite part of this application, with nearly 100 effects to choose from the possibilities are endless. With the effects comes Favorites, a shortcut to get to your favorite effects. These by default are placed on your right hand bar under Special Attributes Some example of effects would be: Perspective, Color Controls, Motion Blur, Mask, and Stroke.

This is a window showing the countless effects you can apply to your work.
Layers:
Layers are yet another key to this application, it is not very different from Photoshops Layers, but actually DrawIt’s layers do work better. When you select your layer you can apply the effects which appear on the right side in Special Attributes. And to the right you choose the layer. This is good because, when you are working on say layer 2 you do not see layer 1’s effects in the Special Attributes, making everything simpler, and more effective.
Insert:
Insert is the tool that is mandatory to use, there you have options such as Insert Shape, Image, Vector, and Text. This is the tool you will be using very often.

Performance:
We are currently using an iMac 3.06 Ghz with 2Gb Ram, and DrawIt runs beautifully, it is more than we could ever expect, and has not crashed yet.

Even though this is not good, It was the first thing we made using this application.
Conclusion:
Overall, this application is magnificent, it has everything from looks to preformance. There are no cons to buying this software, and we conclude that BohemianCoding is one of the best software companies we have seen.
