Apple’s iPhone app iDisk is Already a Huge Hit!

Posted onJuly 29th, 2009

iDisk was posted July 27, 2009 and it already has 169+ ratings with the total rating of 4.5/5 (viewable on iPhone, doesn’t show the same on iTunes). This is a huge outbreak in downloads, but of course it is Apple no surprise there.

What is MobileMe iDisk?

iDisk is a way for you to log into your MobileMe account to view and share files (on iDisk) directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch.  It has the legendary Apple touch, with of course an easy to use interface.

Is is worth the space?

Yes, completely (if you have MobileMe) you should get this. And if you don’t like it, no worries It’s FREE! We use it to clean up the iDisk (you can delete files on iDisk as well) when it is needed. Overall, it is great so go download it!

Apple has a video overview located here.

The New Look Of Twitter

Posted onJuly 29th, 2009

Twitter has recently undergone a facelift. The home page of Twitter is better than ever and focusing on search over joining.  As shown in the image below, the old style was much more focused on getting people to join just like Facebook is now.

This move has pushed them into the ’search’ stage. Above the search bar is says “see what people are saying about…” giving people an easy way to look for anything. If you type in Apple, you will see what people are tweeting about Apple, you search Google, you will see what people are saying about Google (now you will see much about Google and the iPhone).

Also, with the new look they have uncluttered. It is much more open and simple (good for Apple fans!!).

Review: Bilings 3

Posted onJuly 28th, 2009

TheMacFeed has catered to some amazing products but none of them are like this. Created by Marketcircle, Billings 3 does time billing and invoices. But unlike other ‘Work’ applications, Billings is beautiful. The attention to detail on the invoices is one in a million. You can not find another application like it.
